You can park for free 100 m from the water and rig on the grass right next to your car, which you can also see from the water. The spot can get crowded in summer but is empty out of season. Watch out for the underwater stone wall, built to prevent bank erosion, that runs around most of the lake. It is roughly 5 m from the shore, and in some places it is shallow enough to catch your fin on. Wind is usually quite gusty, but you can still get several perfect days a year. It is an easygoing spot, suited to beginners, with a route around the whole lake and a friendly community. There is a rental on the beach, but it mostly offers paddleboards. At the moment, the only windsurf gear available is a beginner setup with an inflatable board. Toilets and a beach bar are on the beach.
