Shallow flat bay with muddy ground, where NW wind can feel up to twice as strong inside the channel.
At NW wind (offshore) there is a strong channel effect inside the bay. It can boost the prevailing wind up to twice the wind speed. With SE wind (onshore), leave the bay and sail further out on the lake. There is less turbulence and steadier wind there, but more chop.
