A huge shallow bay with warm water, an easy beach entry and mostly flat conditions makes it an incredibly safe and forgiving place to learn, improve and build confidence, while reliable Aegean thermal winds keep you powered day after day. Off the water, Alaçatı's old town delivers the best of the Aegean: stone houses, windmills and some of Turkey's finest food culture, just a short walk away.

A huge, shallow, flat-water bay with one of the most reliable thermal winds in the Mediterranean. The meltemi-driven breeze builds like clockwork around midday and blows side-shore over warm, waist-deep water.

The meltemi-driven breeze builds like clockwork around midday and blows side-shore over warm, waist-deep water. It's an incredibly safe and forgiving place to learn, dial in your jibe or train freestyle. The Sun Surf centre at the head of the bay runs a huge fleet of current NeilPryde and JP gear, and Alaçatı's old town is ten minutes away for dinner.
